Thank you President Bush, Thank You Prime Minister Blair.

It seems as if everyday our government in concert with the British parliament are constantly thwarting the attacks of Arab fascist, terrorists. On both US and British soil, our governments are arresting these pathetic, terrorists before they can attack.

I'm proud of that. I'm proud that my government is protecting me even when they're battling terrorists, France, and liberals. Every time they can, terrorist sympathizers are trying to help the terrorists and even with this in the way, our government is still succeeding in the war on terror. Here are just a few situations of where our governments are working:

All missing Egyptian students in custody

Men held in Michigan suspected of plan to attack Mackinac Bridge

University students at centre of terror plots

Suspicious Item forces Plane Evacuation

All of these articles are links of where the government and its citizens work together and thwart a potential attack. In the Michigan case, Wal-Mart employees phoned in the suspicious cell phone activity. In the Alaskan plane situation, a passenger felt that a package was suspicious. With the work of local and federal agents, all of the Egyptian students were wrangled up. Even in the British case, there was a synergy between local and national forces.

That makes me proud. Citizens are calling in with suspicious activities, the government is preventing attacks, and the West is safer. The US and Britain have programs in place that are stopping these attacks even though we can't profile, tap phones, or illegally apprehend suspects.

My hat is off to both George Bush and Tony Blair. May God bless you both and know that we support you. Even though it sounds like we're the minority, we're in fact the silent majority.

HT: Drudge Report.

Well, that assumes this really was a threat. So far, no one has been charged in the alleged terror plot. Neither has any real hard evidence been produced supporting that such a plot was imminent. And the British authorities wanted to continue surveillance, not act.

Tony Blair's ambassador to Uzbekistan, Craig Murray, sums it up:

"None of the alleged terrorists had made a bomb. None had bought a plane ticket. Many did not even have passports, which given the efficiency of the UK Passport Agency would mean they couldn't be a plane bomber for quite some time.

In the absence of bombs and airline tickets, and in many cases passports, it could be pretty difficult to convince a jury beyond reasonable doubt that individuals intended to go through with suicide bombings, whatever rash stuff they may have bragged in internet chat rooms.

What is more, many of those arrested had been under surveillance for over a year - like thousands of other British Muslims. And not just Muslims. Like me. Nothing from that surveillance had indicated the need for early arrests.

Then an interrogation in Pakistan revealed the details of this amazing plot to blow up multiple planes - which, rather extraordinarily, had not turned up in a year of surveillance. Of course, the interrogators of the Pakistani dictator have their ways of making people sing like canaries. As I witnessed in Uzbekistan, you can get the most extraordinary information this way. Trouble is it always tends to give the interrogators all they might want, and more, in a desperate effort to stop or avert torture. What it doesn't give is the truth ...

We then have the extraordinary question of Bush and Blair discussing the possible arrests over the weekend. Why?"

You can be as ungrateful as you wish. The government acted when they deemed fit. I'm confident that their is undeniable proof that these men were plotting an attack.

Unappreciative.

I love your rhetoric chauncey. Your intelligence just exudes from your comments.

There has been no proof to any of these allegations that you claim. Our president has do nothing but protect us.

And about the finger, he's aiming at you.
