Baa Baa... You got to be Kidding me

A school in England change a nursery rhyme to be PC. Remember the old nursery rhyme, "Baa Baa Black Sheep?" Well now it's "Baa Baa Rainbow Sheep." More on this story, click on...

Teachers at the nurseries also have changed the ending of Humpty Dumpty so as not to upset the children, and dropped the seven dwarfs from the title of Snow White.

It gets far worse...

DEMS + NS = BS

I just read a CNN article on the Democrats proposed national security plan for if they controlled both the House and Senate in 2006. What frustrates me the most is our spineless reaction to their constant lies and accusations. Cheney made one comment on the matter and no other Republicans countered Pelosi and Reid's statements. We really need to defend our decisions and why the Republicans are strong on national security. Obviously Pelosi and Reid (when did they become the Democratic spokespeople?) promised over-generalized, vague efforts that they think will appease the public:

But Democrats suggest they will double the number of Special Forces and add more spies to increase the chances of finding al Qaeda's elusive leader.

They say: "We will ensure 2006 is a year of significant transition to full Iraqi sovereignty, with the Iraqis assuming primary responsibility for security and governing their country and with the responsible redeployment of U.S. forces."

All of the promises are only stemmed of what the "polls" show - unpopularity with the war and bin Laden. It's funny because this is just a political stunt 7 months before the 2006 elections. Nothing will change if they take over - they'll just make these wild promises and when they win, they'll retract their comments or blame the existing Republicans.

I really hope that the public doesn't fall for this Pelosi/Reid magic trick where they're trying to pull the "wool over their eyes." I'm slightly nervous though when considering our current situation. At the rate we're going, I think we might just lose control in the House and Senate or at least lose a substantial number of seats.

We need to come out as a party against these false promises. We need to tighten our borders. We need to cut spending. We need to act Republican and stop being a bunch of pansies. Our platform hasn't changed and the majority of the country hasn't changed, we're just getting caught up in all of the lies from the MSM and the left.

On another note, this line from the article also perked some interest:

Democratic strategists say their polling shows Democrats leading in all other areas -- such as the economy, health care, education and retirement security -- and having closed a gap in polls with Republicans on national security.

I'm really curious to find out who they are polling and with what methods...

Abramoff gets nearly 6 years...

Hot off the presses from Miami, FL, Jack Abramoff is getting the minimum sentence of 5 years and 10 months for the fraudulent wire transfers of SunCruz lines. Yahoo News has the whole story:

"I am much chastened and profoundly remorseful," Abramoff said. "I can only hope that the almighty and those whom I have wronged will forgive me my trespasses."

12,000,000... 12,000,001... 12,000,002...

The illegal immigration population is growing and was quite apparent by the synchronized protests earlier this week. The new buzz is what's going to happen now, especially with 2006 around the corner. Mike Tate, who's blogging here, wrote a great article on the immigration issue. I've pulled some excerpts that I thought were frightening:

"Judging by the millions marching in the streets of the United States to oppose criminalizing illegal immigration, it is inconceivable to believe that there would not be resistance, possibly armed, in the process of deporting all illegal immigrants from the United States. If there was resistance, would a compassionate country like ours actually use tanks and airplanes to track down all illegals? Such a move could partition our country and leave us with uncut grass.

Towns across the southwest will soon resemble Maywood, south of downtown Los Angeles, and El Cenizo, a border town in southern Texas. The City Council of the town Maywood, where 96% of the population is Hispanic and more than half foreign-born, recently voted against any federal law criminalizing illegal immigrants or requiring police departments to enforce immigration law. El Cenizo, with Maywood-like demographics, voted to make Spanish the town's official language."

Tate brings up the whole "now what?" proverb and I don't blame him. Now what?

Interesting...

Taken from Newsmax.com:

"Pope Benedict XVI told a delegation from Hong Kong he will visit China in
what would be an extraordinary papal visit to the communist nation, but he said
the trip's timing depends on "God's wish," media reports said Tuesday.

One of the Vatican's goals is to restart official relations with China,
which forced its Roman Catholics to cut ties with the Holy See in 1951 after the
officially atheist Communists took power. People can worship only in
government-controlled churches.

But millions of Chinese belong to unofficial congregations loyal to
Rome. They say they are frequently harassed, fined and sometimes sent to labor
camps by authorities."

Wow! Pope Benedict the XVI will visit Red China following 50+ years of China being ignored by the Catholic Church. What's more scary is that Pope John Paul II, the most traveled Pope, has never been to China. Benedict is obviously trying to become diplomatic, even with the issue of Taiwan being recognized by the Church as being separate. There's also the problem with Hong Kong still expecting their democratic rights that China promised them in 1997....

I'm glad that someone has finally decided to point out China's errors even if its just a peaceful Church. Hopefully Pope Benedict the XVI goes in there and sets them straight.

Main Stream Media Biased?!? (Part Two)

Holy Jeebers Batman! ABC producer John Green claims that "Bush makes me sick. If he uses the 'mixed messages' line one more time, I'm going to puke."

The ironic part of the story is that the MSM is soooo slanted, this won't get any press. It'll get swept under the rug and the MSM will do another "poll" instead. In the perfect world, I could see the headlines now:

A TOP ABC PRODUCER IS SICKENED BY BUSH. IMMEDIATELY FIRED ON THE GROUNDS OF BEING BIASED IN THE PRESS.

Open Letter to American Muslims

I first found this letter on Seaspooks blog. He found the letter on Front Page Mag. I've taken the entire letter and posted it on my blog. It's a strong piece, undoubtedly creating much controversy. That's why I like it so much. Kudos to Captain John Maniscalco, the author of this letter.

I've been trying to say this since 9-11 but you worry me. I wish you didn't. I wish when I walked down the streets of this country that I love, that your color and culture still blended with the beautiful human landscape we enjoy in this country. But you don't blend in anymore. I notice you, and it worries me. I notice you because I can't help it anymore. People from your homelands, professing to be Muslims, have been attacking and killing my fellow citizens and our friends for more than 20 years now. I don't fully understand their grievances and hate but I know that nothing can justify the inhumanity of their attacks.

On September 11, nineteen ARAB-MUSLIMS hijacked four jetliners in my country. They cut the throats of women in front of children and brutally stabbed to death others. They took control of those planes and crashed them into buildings killing thousands of proud fathers, loving sons, wise grandparents, elegant daughters, best friends, favorite coaches, fearless public servants, and children's mothers. The Palestinians celebrated, The Iraqis were overjoyed as was most of the Arab world.

So I notice you now. I don't want to be worried. I don't want to be consumed by the same rage and hate and prejudice that has destroyed the soul of these terrorists. But I need your help. As a rational American, trying to protect my country and family in an irrational and unsafe world, I must know how to tell the difference between you, and the Arab/Muslim terrorist.

How do I differentiate between the true Arab/Muslim-Americans and the Arab/Muslims in our communities who are attending our schools, enjoying our parks, and living in OUR communities under the protection of OUR constitution, while they plot the next attack that will slaughter these same good neighbors and children? The events of September 11th changed the answer. It is not my responsibility to determine which of you embraces our great country, with ALL of its religions, with ALL of its different citizens, with all of its faults. It is time for every Arab/Muslim in this country to determine it for me.

I want to know, I demand to know, and I have a right to k now whether or not you love America. Do you pledge allegiance to its flag? Do you proudly display it in front of your house, or on your car?

Do you pray in your many daily prayers that Allah will bless this nation, that He will protect and prosper it? Or do you pray that Allah with destroy it in one of your "Jihads"? Are you thankful for the freedom that only this nation affords? A freedom that was paid for by the blood of hundreds of thousands of patriots who gave their lives for this country? Are you willing to preserve this freedom by paying the ultimate sacrifice? Do you love America? If this is your commitment, then I need YOU to start letting ME know about it.

Your Muslim leaders in this nation should be flooding the media at this time with hard facts on your faith, and what hard actions you are taking as a community and as a religion to protect the United States of America. Please, no more benign overtures of regret for the death of the innocent because I worry about who you regard as innocent. No more benign overtures of condemnation for the unprovoked attacks because I worry about what is unprovoked to you. I am not interested in any more sympathy...I am only interested in action. What will you do for America - our great country -- at this time of crisis, at this time of war?

I want to see Arab-Muslims waving the AMERICAN flag in the streets. I want to hear you chanting "Allah Bless America". I want to see young Arab/Muslim men enlisting in the military. I want to see a commitment of money, time, and emotion to the victims of this butchering and to this nation as a whole. The FBI has a list of over 400 people they want to talk to regarding the WTC attack. Many of these people live and socialize in Muslim communities. You know them; You know where they are.

Hand them over to us, now! But I have seen little even approaching this sort of action. Instead I have seen an already closed and secretive community close even tighter. You have disappeared from the streets. You have posted armed security guards at your facilities. You have threatened lawsuits. You have screamed for protection from reprisals.

The very few Arab/Muslim representatives that HAVE appeared in the media were defensive and equivocating. They seemed more concerned with making sure that the United States proves who was responsible before taking action. They seemed more concerned with protecting their fellow Muslims from violence directed towards them in the United States and abroad than they did with supporting our country and denouncing "leaders" like Khadafi, Hussein, Farrakhan, and Arafat. If the true teachings of Islam proclaim tolerance and peace and love for all people then I w ant chapter and verse from the Koran and statements from popular Muslim leaders to back it up. What good is it if the teachings in the Koran are good and pure and true when your "leaders" are teaching fanatical interpretations, terrorism, and intolerance?

It matters little how good Islam SHOULD BE if large numbers of the world's Muslims interpret the teachings of Mohammed incorrectly and adhere to a degenerative form of the religion. A form that has been demonstrated to us over and over again. A form whose structure is built upon a foundation of violence, death, and suicide. A form whose members are recruited from the prisons around the world. A form whose members (some as young as five years old) are seen day after day, week in and week out, year after year, marching in the streets around the world, burning effigies of our presidents, burning the American flag, shooting weapons into the air. A form whose members convert from a peaceful religion, only to take up arms against the great United States of America, the country of their birth. A form whose rules are so twisted, that their traveling members refuse to show their faces at airport security checkpoints, in the name of Islam.

Do you and your fellow Muslims hate us because our women proudly show their faces in public rather than cover up like a shameful whore? Do you and your fellow Muslims hate us because we drink wine with dinner, or celebrate Christmas? Do you and you fellow Muslims hate us because we have befriended Israel, the ONLY civilized democratic nation in the entire Middle East?

And if you and your fellow Muslims hate us, then why in the world are you even here? Are you here to take our money? Are you here to undermine our peace and stability? Are you here to destroy us? If so, I want you to leave I want you to go back to your desert sandpit where women are treated like rats and dogs. I want you to take your religion, your friends, and your family back to your Islamic extremists, and STAY THERE! We will NEVER give in to your influence, your retarded mentality, your twisted, violent, intolerant religion. We will NEVER allow the attacks of September 11, or any others for that matter, to take away that which is so precious to us: Our rights under the greatest constitution in the world. I want to know where every Arab/ Muslim in this country stands and I think it is my right and the right of every true citizen of this country to demand it. A right paid for by the blood of thousands of my brothers and sisters who died protecting the very constitution that is protecting you and your family. I am pleading with you to let me know. I want you here as my brother, my neighbor, my friend, as a fellow American. But there can be no gray areas or ambivalence regarding your allegiance and it is up to YOU to show ME where YOU stand. Until then ...you worry me.

Catholic Bishop Analyzes Islam

I actually wasn't going to post on this but after reading AB Freedom's post on the execution of a Christian in Afghanistan, I felt compelled. I was leaving church on Sunday and picked up a copy of the Florida Catholic and noticed an article titled, The War of the Worlds, and thought to my self 'Wow! A catholic paper with an article like that - a must read.'

Archbishop Cyril Salim Bustros, an expert on Christian-Islamic relations, explains the gravity of the situation. A great article on the Muslim world population, my only problem with the article is Abp. Bustros almost apologetic attitude about Islam:

"Muslims see their opponents as the godless West. They are convinced of the superiority of their culture and obsessed with the inferiority of their power," Archbishop Bustros said. "Muslims fear and resent Western power and the threat which this poses to their society and beliefs."

Much of that fear is justified by the history of colonialism in the 19th and 20th centuries and by the Western powers' arbitrary redrawing of boundaries in the Middle East after the two World Wars, especially the establishment of the state of Israel in predominantly Muslim Palestine.

Today, many Muslims see themselves "as victims of a widespread anti-Muslim prejudice comparable to anti-Semitism," Archbishop Bustros said.

Definitely a must-read article with an impressive analysis and doomsday implications.

Boo!

Uh oh. It seems as if the insurgents got lazy and forgot that we have more up our sleeves than just ground troops.

It's been reported that there were "intensive air invasions" throughout central Iraq, leading to the captures of numerous insurgents and seizures of bomb-making materials. The St. Pete Times reports that Operation Swarmer "detained 41 people, found stolen uniforms and captured weapons, including explosives used in making roadside bombs."

Myway.com reports:

"The military described the operation, in which a combined Iraq-U.S. fighting force was delivered in 50 helicopters, as the "biggest air assault" in three years. It was not an air raid, however, as the military reported no bombing or firing from the air in the offensive northeast of Samarra, a town 60 miles north of Baghdad."

It's about time we started back up with more procedural, war tactics. Granted, I'm not a General nor am I fighting there, but I feel we are fully utilizing our resources. We need to show our strength, and seek out the insurgents with all types of warfare. In this particular situation, it's also positive to see that the troops are working directly with Iraqi forces to weed out these insurgents (ABC News):

"A military statement said "Operation Swarmer" involved more than 1,500 Iraqi and US troops and 200 armoured vehicles targeting insurgents active near Samarra, 100 kilometres north of Baghdad. A defense official in Washington said 600-700 of the troops involved were Iraqi government forces. The rest were Americans."

All in all, hopefully we'll step up our offensive in an effort to obliterate all insurgents and push the Iranians back, proving the recent uprising is temporary. I have faith that our General's are making the appropriate steps in successfully liberating Iraq.

"Religion of Peace"

Iranian Mohammed Taheri-azar is now claiming that his recent SUV-attacks are permitted by the Quran and Allah and all Muslims are permitted to do the same:

"Allah gives permission in the Quran for the followers of Allah to attack those who have raged war against them, with the expectation of eternal paradise in case of martyrdom and/or living one's life in obedience of all of Allah's commandments found throughout the Quran's 114 chapters,"
"The U.S. government is responsible for the deaths of and the torture of countless followers of Allah, my brothers and sisters. My attack on Americans at UNC-CH on March 3rd was in retaliation for similar attacks orchestrated by the U.S. government on my fellow followers of Allah in Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine, Saudi Arabia and other Islamic territories. I did not act out of hatred for Americans, but out of love for Allah instead."
This all came from a letter that Taheri-azar wrote to a television reporter and anchor at WTVD-TV, a nearby station to the city where the crimes were committed. Apparently he wants everyone to know that under the guise of his religion, he's innocent. By trying to kill innocent citizens, he's expressing his opinions of the US government.

This terrorist attack occurred when he recently drove his SUV into a group of people on the campus of the University of North Carolina. He's now being charged on nine counts of attempted murder and assault. He should be charged with carrying out a failed terrorist attack but no,

"...officials were reticent to call the attack terrorism."
This man tried to kill innocent American citizens, the same efforts made by Bin Laden. I'm having serious trouble delineating the two.

A Little St. Patrick's Day Cheer

Two men were sitting next to each other at a bar.

After a while, one guy looks at the other and says, "I can't help but think, from listening to you, that you're from Ireland."

The other guy responds proudly, "Yes, that I am!"

The first guy says, "So am I! And where about from Ireland might you be?"

The other guy answers, "I'm from Dublin, I am."

The first guy responds, "Sure and begora, and so am I! And what street did you live on in Dublin?"

The other guy says, "A lovely little area it was, I lived on McCleary Street in the old central part of town."

The first guy says, "Faith and it's a small world, so did I! So did I!! And to what school would you have been going?"

The other guy answers, "Well now, I went to St. Mary's of course."

The first guy gets really excited and says, "And so did I. Tell me, what year did you graduate?"

The other guy answers, "Well, now, let's see, I graduated in 1964."

The first guy exclaims, "The Good Lord must be smiling down upon us! I can hardly believe our good luck at winding up in the same bar tonight. Can you believe it, I graduated from St. Mary's in 1964 my own self."

About this time, Vicky walks into the bar, sits down, and orders a beer. Brian, the bartender, walks over to Vicky, shaking his head and mutters, "It's going to be a long night tonight!!!!"

Vicky asks, "Why do you say that, Brian?"

"The Murphy twins are drunk again."

Hollywood's Taking a Turn for the Worse

"Controversy, reality reign at Oscars"

In yesterday's St. Petersburg Times, the Oscars were front page news. Steve Persall, the writer, implied of bias towards Brokeback Mountain on how it lost the Best Picture asward to Crash. Apparently, it should’ve won the award because it won a Golden Globe, Directors Guild of America Prize, and the Producers Guild of America award. Persall states:

"Of the nine films that had scored that triple play before, eight took the Best Picture Oscar."

Personally, I don’t think either deserved the award. The 40-year Old Virgin had more substance and realities than either movie. The American people are sick of this trash that they are producing. March of the Penguins, winner of the Best Documentary, actually pulled in more cash than any of the nominees for Best Picture, totaling more than $77 million so far. I think that should answer questions on what we want to see, not two gay cowboys or some racist, perverted cop.

In dollars and cents, here is substantial proof that Hollywood is not in touch with America:

"Box office numbers usually influence the show's television appeal. This year's five best picture nominees grossed less than $250-million combined at U.S. theaters, the least popular group since 1984. The Oscar telecast scored its highest ratings ever in 1998 when an estimated 55.2-million viewers watched Titanic, the all- time U.S. box office champion, dominate the balloting."

In the words of DCS, "nuff said."
