Here's an interesting article I found on the Drudge Report about Rumsfeld's reaction to Bush critics and naysayers to the war on terror. Rumsfeld lays it out perfectly, equating the appeasement by liberals to the terrorists similar to that of Britain and France’s appeasement to Hitler in the 1930's. The AP reports:
In unusually explicit terms, Rumsfeld portrayed the administration's critics as suffering from "moral or intellectual confusion" about what threatens the nation's security and accused them of lacking the courage to fight back.
In remarks to several thousand veterans at the American Legion's national convention, Rumsfeld recited what he called the lessons of history, including the failed efforts to appease the Adolf Hitler regime in the 1930s.
It's getting quite frustrating about how liberals don't want to consider what Bush and the administration are trying to do, only to be against it. No matter what the case, the MSM and liberals continue to slam this effort and as Rumsfeld puts it "blame America first."
