Cross-Breeding?

Call this what you will but I smell something funny. Sometimes you'll see people rubbing elbows that you'd call an odd couple but I think this is a little drastic...

Newsmax reports...
Relations between ex-president Bill Clinton and executives at the Fox News Channel's parent company may be starting to thaw, with Clinton set to address a News Corp. gathering this summer at the invitation of company chairman Rupert Murdoch.
{snip}
According to the New York Observer, however, Clinton has just accepted Murdoch's invite to speak at the Pebble Beach Golf Club in August.
Why would the ex-president be hobnobbing with the Democratic Party's version of the Great Satan?
"We have a good relationship with the former president," a News Corp spokesman explained to the Observer.
The company's relationship with Hillary Clinton has also apparently improved. Mrs. Clinton turned up at a Fox News 10th anniversary party in Washington, D.C. last week.

Which leads us to what the Free Republic says...
Now, the specter of an alliance between Mrs. Clinton and Mr. Murdoch - two of the most powerful and guarded figures in the world - is beginning to whet the appetites of the chattering classes.
At the moment, the two speak of each other (through surrogates) in notably similar terms: "Senator Clinton respects him and thinks he is smart and effective," said a spokesman for Mrs. Clinton, Philippe Reines.

"Rupert has respect for her political skills and for the hard work that she's done as a Senator," said an executive vice president at News Corp., Gary Ginsberg.
Other evidence is still a bit lean. Lunch has been taken at News Corp.'s midtown headquarters, friendly noises have emanated from the New York Post's editorial page, and Mr. Murdoch has retained a key advisor to Mrs. Clinton, Howard Wolfson.

Call me crazy but I smell something fishy. First, Slick Willy is now buddy-buddy with H and now this? Makes you wonder...

We already know what the future holds, it just has to play out accordingly now. I think I liked the other logo better. If you want, I can show you some of my wife's work. She may be able to help you. If you ask, I'll give you a link to her.

ARRRRGGGGGHHHHH! Mr. Tastic, this is horrendous news! If we lose Fox News, then I will have to stop watching the News altogether.

About a new name, if I were going to re-name my blog I believe I would call it "MAN THE TORPEDOES!" (I'm in a fighting mood what with all the crap that's taking place.)

W was a plant from the start. Bush the Elder, the Clintons and Murdoch all know that the NeoCon agenda would bring about the destruction of America so the put a stooge in the Whitehouse. There plan is to have the right screw the country up so bad that they will never have power again.

God bless George H W Bush for sacrificing his son for the sake of his country.

To all of my fellow posters, I agree with all of you. This could be the end of FNC viewers like myself.

To Rich: If you cut through all of that sarcasm, and of course, your verbal assault on our Commander in Chief, there still isn't anything close to factual.

I will say this, I'm confident that the limpy left will not take the government in 06 or 08 unless they pick up their act and move towards reality.

Tex, I'd like to see what your wife could do for me - I'll stop by.

Don't get your panties in a bunch quite yet. I highly doubt that just because Rupert Murdoch has one more political connection that the whole network is going to do a 180. He isn't that stupid. If you want, monitor what is being reported on the channel. Once that actually changes, then you can start bitching.

It does smell fishy, but it's just social elites commiserating.
