"Religion of Peace"

Iranian Mohammed Taheri-azar is now claiming that his recent SUV-attacks are permitted by the Quran and Allah and all Muslims are permitted to do the same:

"Allah gives permission in the Quran for the followers of Allah to attack those who have raged war against them, with the expectation of eternal paradise in case of martyrdom and/or living one's life in obedience of all of Allah's commandments found throughout the Quran's 114 chapters,"
"The U.S. government is responsible for the deaths of and the torture of countless followers of Allah, my brothers and sisters. My attack on Americans at UNC-CH on March 3rd was in retaliation for similar attacks orchestrated by the U.S. government on my fellow followers of Allah in Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine, Saudi Arabia and other Islamic territories. I did not act out of hatred for Americans, but out of love for Allah instead."
This all came from a letter that Taheri-azar wrote to a television reporter and anchor at WTVD-TV, a nearby station to the city where the crimes were committed. Apparently he wants everyone to know that under the guise of his religion, he's innocent. By trying to kill innocent citizens, he's expressing his opinions of the US government.

This terrorist attack occurred when he recently drove his SUV into a group of people on the campus of the University of North Carolina. He's now being charged on nine counts of attempted murder and assault. He should be charged with carrying out a failed terrorist attack but no,

"...officials were reticent to call the attack terrorism."
This man tried to kill innocent American citizens, the same efforts made by Bin Laden. I'm having serious trouble delineating the two.

Me too! And if they have this letter, then they darn well should prosecute him as a terrorist! I can't figure out what
the hell is the matter with the so-called "officials." Cowards, perhaps? Looks like they may be afraid of Muslim retaliation. I'm already pissed off enough at the ACLU, and now this! GRRRRRRR!

By the way, I came here to tell you I appreciated the link you left. I posted your comment and the link to www.stoptheaclu.com at the top of the ACLU post I did yesterday. I'll leave it stand, maybe even for two more days so that as many people can read it as possible. Thanks again! Keep up the good work! :)

Thanks Gayle! I've actually had some good conversations with the founder of stoptheaclu.com. He's got a lot of drive and is making great progress.

It's interesting that we have that link going because his front page article is directly relative to your post. I hope this increases awareness because I truly feel that this is important. The ACLU was founded by a bunch of socialist, globalists anti-religion atheists.

Also on the record, the ACLU has their hands in the pockets of the Supreme Court of the United States with Ginsburg as their jockey.

This wing nut should fry. I did here on Fox that he has to be charged with these 9 counts, then it gets moved up until it gets to the federal level. Not sure how it all works in the US ...

Thanks for the visit ... great blog you got going on here. I'll just have to make ya one of my regular stops ... ;-)
