All I want from Alito

After the inevitable partisan vote and Alito gets the seat, I ask only one thing from him: No more judicial activism. When did we forget that the Judicial branch is equivalent to both the Legislative and Executive branch and nothing else? The Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) is not some magnificent 7 individuals. They should not be held on any higher standards. If anything, I expect Alito to revert back to what the founders wanted, less government, less law, and less activism.

We’ve gotten carried away and it must stop. The MSM has managed to manipulate and twist what the Judicial system does. When the SCOTUS is used, it should be in rare instances and they should typically have to refer to previous cases. Also, references should be in the strictest adherence to the Constitution and nothing more. Hopefully Alito will be the one to alleviate us from judicial activism. Much less being blinded by activist groups and personal preference (ahem...Ginsburg).

So should the Supreme Court overthrow Roe V Wade or would that be judicial activism?

It was judicial activism to begin with.
