Beijing Interfering with US Satellites and more...

I came across this article on Drudge Report. It's another fascinating case where the liberal MSM is biased insofar as they won't cover serious international issues. When China starts to damage the surveillance cameras on US satellites, the public should know. I've taken an excerpt from the Telegraph article:

China has secretly fired powerful laser weapons designed to disable American spy satellites by "blinding" their sensitive surveillance devices, it was reported yesterday.

The hitherto unreported attacks have been kept secret by the Bush administration for fear that it would damage attempts to co-opt China in diplomatic offensives against North Korea and Iran.

Sources told the military affairs publication Defense News that there had been a fierce internal battle within Washington over whether to make the attacks public. In the end, the Pentagon's annual assessment of the growing Chinese military build-up barely mentioned the threat.

"After a contentious debate, the White House directed the Pentagon to limit its concern to one line," Defense News said.

Now, I want to bring up another point. Recently, another blogger has joined BARC and is very active in her reports about China. Toastedbread has covered two stories about China very extensively and has given me permission to use and link her posts. Here's a link to a post that I insist everyone read on the ever-growing arsenal of Communist China. This is a must read, both compelling and vigorous.

Another post that is more gruesome is linked here, a post over the surplus of organs. Very interesting...

Mr. Tastic, my poor brain is about to suffer a meltdown! Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Korea, China, Venezuela... I don't know if I can assimilate all of it anymore! What do we have to do anyway... fight the entire world alone? It's getting quite depressing!

Hi, two things. First, the world is now in a reset mode. That is it is no longer in an artificial bi-polar situation. It is back to mano a mano as it ever was.

Second, PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL,

-Steve

Well Gayle, I couldn't agree with you more. We focus our attention on these tiny countries like Iran and Iraq while really, Russia, NKorea, and Red China are by bigger threats.

Don't fear for yourself, fear for your children. I suspect by the time I'm 40, this world will be a far different place.

Steve - you're all set, check your mail.

Excuse me Ms. Vorheva, it has been corrected.

I definitely fear for the children. I gotta guy on my blog right now who openly admits that the rights of terrorists are more important than the lives of his children. How are we suppose to fight any of these countries when confronted with idiots like that taking up space.

Liberals should be reduced to soilent green. There it is.

I agree with Highboy... soilent green! Dang, we must do more than we are doing, and it is my children and grandchildren I worry about most. I sure as hell don't want my daughter and granddaughters wearing burkas and having to kiss the feet of these murderous b*stards!

Sure sounds like China is winding up for some sort of conflict. Seems to be a lot of prep for a nation that just sits there quiet.

Be around when i can MT ... most excellent post.

Highboy and Gayle,

The liberal ineptitude will be our death. We consistently ignore the obvious signs that the US is in danger.

AB,

Glad to see that you're still perusing around. Come by anytime.

Yeah, I'm trying to convince a troll on my blog about the importance of national security but its lost on these libs. They'll defend the rights of terrorists before they defend the rights of their own families.
