Lies upon lies

Patrick McIlheran of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel has a great post regarding the birthers and the "real" Barry Obama.

Maybe the birthers should focus on the other lies circulating Obama:

"He wasn’t raised by a single mother, really, but by settled grandparents. His parents didn’t meet in the wake of Selma."

"But Americans don’t know, nor do they know what Obama did visiting Pakistan as a young man, or why his own story of his years of growing up in Indonesia do not jibe with public records."

COMPLETELY Regurgitating Email Chains....

But I still love doing it!

An Israeli doctor said to a medical conference, "Medicine in my country is so advanced, we can take a kidney out of one person, put it into another and have him looking for work in six weeks!"

The German doctor stood up and said, "Well medicine in my county is so advanced, we can take a lung out of one person and put it into another and have him looking for work on 4 weeks"

The Russian doctor got up and said "My country is even more advanced, we can remove half of a heart from one person, put it into another and have them both looking for work in just 2 weeks!"

Not to be outdone, the American doctor stood up and addressed the conference, "Well", he said, "my country is so far advanced in medicine, we can take an asshole out of Chicago, put him in the White House, and have half the country looking for work in 24 hours!"

Krauthammer hits the nail on the head with his latest piece. I especially enjoy the following:

"The list is long. But the list of causes of the collapse of the financial system does not include the absence of universal health care, let alone of computerized medical records. Indeed, one could perversely make the case that, if anything, the proliferation of overeducated, Gucci-wearing, smart-ass MBAs inventing ever more sophisticated and opaque mathematical models and debt instruments helped get us into this credit catastrophe in the first place."

Are the Citizens of the United States going CRAZY?!?

We're just a few weeks away from potentially electing a man that:

Hasn't been in political office for more than 10 years.
Worked closely with a terrorist for over 4 years.
Associated for over 20 years with an anti-US "pastor" that wed him and baptized his children.
Voted against banning infanticide more than once.
Will have direct talks with the highest leaders of anti-American countries.
Refused to vote on major issues over 129 times.
Has the most liberal voting record in the US Senate (with his running mate at a close 3rd).
Has a voting record that supports police raids on homes with weapons and banning the sale of all firearms.
Worked directly with ACORN - the non-profit group that is currently being investigated by the FBI for voter fraud.
Collected more money in less time than any other senator from both Fannie and Freddie - the two companies that are dual handedly destroying our economy.
