COMPLETELY Regurgitating Email Chains....

But I still love doing it!

An Israeli doctor said to a medical conference, "Medicine in my country is so advanced, we can take a kidney out of one person, put it into another and have him looking for work in six weeks!"

The German doctor stood up and said, "Well medicine in my county is so advanced, we can take a lung out of one person and put it into another and have him looking for work on 4 weeks"

The Russian doctor got up and said "My country is even more advanced, we can remove half of a heart from one person, put it into another and have them both looking for work in just 2 weeks!"

Not to be outdone, the American doctor stood up and addressed the conference, "Well", he said, "my country is so far advanced in medicine, we can take an asshole out of Chicago, put him in the White House, and have half the country looking for work in 24 hours!"

Built on Lies

Krauthammer hits the nail on the head with his latest piece. I especially enjoy the following:

"The list is long. But the list of causes of the collapse of the financial system does not include the absence of universal health care, let alone of computerized medical records. Nor the absence of an industry-killing cap-and-trade carbon levy. Nor the lack of college graduates. Indeed, one could perversely make the case that, if anything, the proliferation of overeducated, Gucci-wearing, smart-ass MBAs inventing ever more sophisticated and opaque mathematical models and debt instruments helped get us into this credit catastrophe in the first place."

Neither, it's the 435 members of the United States Congress.  The same group of Idiots that crank out hundreds of new laws each year designed to keep the rest of us in line.

Deep Sh*t

The financial crisis is evident in this map
provided by Reuters. I'm not really surprised - this is just the obvious sh*t that I expect from the PIGs (Party in Government).

What I find to be the most revealing are two points:
  1. Notice the states that aren't currently in trouble and what color would you classify them as? Red perhaps?
  2. Reuters has chosen to ignore Alaska, a state that is run by the infamous Palin. A state that actually has a budget surplus.
If everything continues along this current path, I have every intention on moving to the North Plains. I would HATE the winters but I wouldn't miss the gummint.

Yes, I am a soothsayer.

Long lines for pay checks?
Potential riots?
Added police force with barricades?
Angry mobs of people wanting their money?
Politician not paying out what was promised?
Bureaucratic complacency?
Confusion?
Frustration?
The list goes on...

Are the Citizens of the United States going CRAZY?!?

We're just a few weeks away from potentially electing a man that:

  1. Hasn't been in political office for more than 10 years.
  2. Worked closely with a terrorist for over 4 years.
  3. Associated for over 20 years with an anti-US "pastor" that wed him and baptized his children.
  4. Voted against banning infanticide more than once.
  5. Will have direct talks with the highest leaders of anti-American countries.
  6. Refused to vote on major issues over 129 times.
  7. Has the most liberal voting record in the US Senate (with his running mate at a close 3rd).
  8. Has a voting record that supports police raids on homes with weapons and banning the sale of all firearms.
  9. Worked directly with ACORN - the non-profit group that is currently being investigated by the FBI for voter fraud.
  10. Collected more money in less time than any other senator from both Fannie and Freddie - the two companies that are dual handedly destroying our economy.
Seriously? WTF.

Assassination Plot or...?

I don't know how I feel about this article. It just doesn't seem to add up. The chronological events don't seem right... the compliance by the accused seems too easy... the fact that the press is already talking with the "perps"... parading around an ongoing investigation... everything just seems off:

Plot to Kill Obama: Shoot From High Vantage Point

Written by Brian Maass and cbs4denver.com staff

 Section: Democratic National Convention Section

DENVER (CBS4/AP) ―

Denver's U.S. attorney is expected to speak on Tuesday afternoon about the arrests of four people suspected in a possible plot to shoot Barack Obama at his Thursday night acceptance speech in Denver. All are being held on either drug or weapons charges.

One of those suspects spoke exclusively to CBS4 investigative reporter Brian Maass from inside the Denver City Jail late Monday night and said his friends had discussed killing Obama.

"So your friends were saying threatening things about Obama?" Maass asked.

"Yeah," Nathan Johnson replied.

"It sounded like they didn't want him to be president?"

"Yeah," Johnson said.

Maass reported earlier Monday that one of the suspects told authorities they were "going to shoot Obama from a high vantage point using a ... rifle ... sighted at 750 yards."

Law enforcement sources told Maass that one of the suspects "was directly asked if they had come to Denver to kill Obama. He responded in the affirmative."

I don't know what about the story is wrong but something seems fishy. Yes, I'm just thinking out-loud and I do take any attempt at another's life as serious but something about this case...

Cost of Government Day (COGD)
[2005] [2004] [2003[2002] [2001]

OVERVIEW OF RESULTS

Definition

Cost of Government Day (COGD) is the date of the calendar year on which the average American worker has earned enough gross income to pay off his or her share of spending and regulatory burdens imposed by government on the federal, state and local levels.

Cost of Government Day 2008

Cost of Government Day for 2008 is July 16.  Working people must toil on average 197 days out of the year just to meet all costs imposed by government.  In other words, the cost of government consumes 53.9 percent of national income.

Cost of Government: Trends

Cost of Government Day falls four days later in 2008 than last year’s revised date of July 12.  In 2008, the average American will have to work an additional 17 days out of the year to pay off his or her cost of government compared to 2000, when the COGD was June 29.

In fact, since 1977, COGD has fallen later than July 16 in only four of those 32 years - in 1982 and 1983, and in 1992 and 1993.  The driving factor for this development is the fact that all components of the cost of government – federal spending, state and local spending, and regulation – are now increasing faster than national income.

This increase in the cost of government stands in sharp contrast to at least two periods in the past thirty years: COGD fell sharply from a high of July 20 in 1992 to June 29 in 1999 and 2000.  In addition, COGD declined from a record high of July 23 in 1982 to July 3 in 1989.  Both of these declines resulted from a combination of restraining the growth of federal spending while the economy was booming and rapidly increasing national income.

Clinton + PRC = Shi_

If it walks like shi_, talks like shi_, and stinks like shi_ - it's the Clinton fundraising machine.

‘Uh oh, here go the Republicans, bringing up old dirt.’ ***

Not true at all. Hillary Clinton (and many other democrats) has been collecting money from a crook and is now paying the price. It seems as if Hsu, a man of mystery in the apparel industry, has been dumping hundreds of thousands of dollars into the DNC, primarily to the Clinton camp. No one really knows where he comes but he has a decorated past. Decorated as in brushing up with the Chinese mafia, being arrested on fraud charges, and procuring hundreds of thousands for the DNC.

Yesterday, Ben Smith cried about the Republicans profiling Hsu due to his ethnicity. I really don’t know what the problem is here. Yes, Hsu is Chinese. And yes, that makes him more suspect. Call me racist - I call it investigative.

Now not just Clinton but also all of the rats are jumping ship. Hmmmm. More reason to believe Hsu’s record isn’t so clean. To be honest though, I expect nothing less from the democrats. What bothers me is the lack of Republican pressure on the issue. Sure, statements are being made but this scandal will fizzle to the wayside with the post-Labor day blues.

*** Don’t get me started about digging up old dirt.
